A Beautiful Stone

What a treasure this stone is! We went up in three seperate cars at dawn. Julianne made delicious raspberry muffins and Eric made hot chocolate. The morning will always be memorable as we felt the Spirit together as Dad shared about the symbolism in his work of art. I feel so blessed to have been apart of this day. We miss you all, but will see you soon!

My Second Post

The Spud.
A favorite to win the Pinewood Derby.
We never actually finished,
but we did win "Most Delectable."

The BYU - Tulsa game. In hind site we shouldn't be smiling.
We stopped in Oklahoma City on the way home and saw the national monument. On the right, each chair represents someone who lost his/her life in the bombing. The wall on the left is from the original building.

My First Post

Clinton and I spent a weekend at Caddo Lake - the only natural lake in Texas. It looks like it's more of a swamp, but the vegetation and bird life were really fun to observe.

Sadly we haven't been able to eat a lot of what we tried to plant this year, but we sure had a lot of green beans!

I stayed busy this summer when Clinton was working in the hospital doing lots of things, but I have to say that baking bread probably topped my list. Some attempts were definitely more successful than others.

It's 80's Night

I am loving the dorms and loving school. I work hard and play hard-- it's a good combination. Just to give you an idea of our fun, this is me and Whitney going to the 80's Homecoming Dance on campus. Our dates were funny, we went all-out, and it was a party: lots of blue eye shadow, fanny packs, mullets, and crimped hair. What could be better?!

Grandma's Wall

Julianne stripped the old, pink, floral wallpaper on the kitchen wall and she and Laura painted it this beautiful, yellow color. We're not quite sure how Nan feels about it but we love it!

Will & Dad

We love this photo. A friend of mine took it at Manresa beach almost a month ago. I just got it matted and framed for JJ for our anniversary. Had to share. Our four year anniversary is today, I feel so blessed to have this wonderful husband and now two little boys. I love you JJ!
