Will & Dad

We love this photo. A friend of mine took it at Manresa beach almost a month ago. I just got it matted and framed for JJ for our anniversary. Had to share. Our four year anniversary is today, I feel so blessed to have this wonderful husband and now two little boys. I love you JJ!

Weekend Discoveries

Will and Owen keep growing, while Natalie and JJ have long stayed the very same. While that revelation is monumental, it's not the only discovery we made this weekend. We also discovered that sore muscles come when you climb steep hills and rats in the kitchen aren't such a bad idea after all.

The Moss family's red Audi arrived on Friday evening delivering a relieved bunch of cross-Nevada travelers. We were all so excited to see them park in front of the house and each of us was honored by Will's animated greetings. On Saturday morning we went to Eric's semi-final soccer game and JJ discovered that soccer isn't so bad after all. In the early afternoon we made an express Costco trip for a little food, where we discovered that Costco trips always take longer than you think. We were almost late to Ratatouille, but made it in time for even a few previews. There we were reminded of a previous discovery: Pixar movies are always spectacular. On Sunday we went to Jane Sheffield's house for dinner, where we were asked to bring a salad and Natalie Moss. Surprising discovery? No, we knew that we wouldn't have been invited had it not been for Natalie. On Monday, according to Will, "We climbed to the top of a big mountain." And while we missed Mom, we discovered that memories of her are a comfort. The Moss squad left on Tuesday amidst hugs, goodbyes, and big kisses on Owen's forehead. Discovery #29: it's always hard to say goodbye.
